Cara is an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about working with babies, children, adolescents and young adults. She strives to help each person identify and progress towards their goals.

Having completed her Masters of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice (by Research) and Masters in International Public Health, she has been involved in both the clinical and research & policy development space to promote child health.

Cara uses a range of assessments, therapy techniques and equipment prescriptions. She is certified in:

  • DMI therapy (Intermediate A)

  • Orofacial Myology

  • Neuro, Sensory, Motor, Developmental Assessment (NSMDA)

  • JobSkin Body Support Splints Fitting

She is also a medical classifier for CP Football.

Cara’s Particular Areas of Interest:

  • Neurological impairment management

  • Gross motor skill development

  • Intensive therapy

Cara’s Other Roles:

In addition to her clinical roles, Cara is the Head Physiotherapist for the ParaMatildas National Football Team, a member of the NSW Branch Paediatric Physiotherapy Committee, a member of the Disabled Surfers Sydney Branch Committee and a member of the World Federation of Public Health Associations Women, Children and Adolescent Workgroup
